I'm offering my beautiful apartment for a potential flat swap. It's a fully renovated Altbau in a fantastic central location in Prenzlauer Berg, overlooking a park, which makes it surprisingly quiet despite being so well connected. Eberswalder Straße U-Bahn and Tram Station Husemannstr. and S- Bahn Station Schönhauser Allee, all just about a 10-minute walk away. The apartment has everything I love about Berlin architecture: high ceilings with original stucco, one elegant double door, lots of natural light, and a balcony facing the peaceful inner courtyard. It really is a wonderful place to live. Since my apartment is with Gewobag, a swap is only possible through the official exchange program between Berlin's state-owned housing companies (like Gewobag).
The only reason I'm looking for a swap is that I'd like to downsize, as the apartment has become a bit too large for my current needs. I'm moving together with my very well trained and obedient dog. I'm looking for a smaller and more affordable apartment, as I'd like to live on my own. Ideally, it would also be an Altbau with a similar charm, preferably with a bathtub and/or a balcony, in a central location (PB, KB, NK, Mitte).
